I can’t believe that I sent that!
by usr_local in October 8th, 2008
I must have been drunk. Even if you really feel that way about the boss, do you really want him to get that email that says all those things that you would never actually say to him. Has it ever happened to you? Your sitting there in front of your email client on Friday night. You may have had one too many. You decide that it is time to let the boss know what you think. What a dip he is. Saturday morning arrives and you think “Did I really send that?” Yes, you did!
According to this short article, if you use Gmail, It will never happen again. “Mail goggles” is there to save you. Mail Goggles is a new tool from Gmail that could stop you from sending stupid, regretible mail.
Personally, I think it is absurd because I don’t bring work home with me. And when I drink enough to make me think of doing something like that, I fall asleep before I get the chance. There may be people out there that actually need a tool like this though. I suppose that Google would not have it out there if it was not usable by someone.
